This is a sweet summer purse with a pretty purse fob that will be getting noticed!

The purse was bought at the Goodwill and the fob I made from old jewelry that I collect.  It is so much fun to sit with my basket of beads and baubles and create these purse fobs.

Thrifty Tuesday

One of my favorite things to do is Thrifting or IRAD (Indoor Recreational Activity Day) - the other name for it is "Super Tuesday."  That's when Goodwill has their $1.49 certain color tag sale.  My friends and I meet, SHOP and then off to one of our favorite restaurants for Tomato Basil Soup.  It's a great day!

I'm always looking for special material for items I make for my Etsy store, which by the way is called "Art is in the Doing."  Check it out!

Also I look for anything that is Crystal, Silver, or White.  I find some pretty neat items, here are a few.

Made from a cut-off writst area from a shirt or blouse. 

  This one is from a light corduroy shirt with the little snaps already in place, added some lace, buttons, an old brooch and a little funky yarn!
